THE PARKS OF WEST BAY
Nestled throughout the 868 acres of The West Bay Beach & Golf Club are 509 acres of wetlands, nature preserve and pure open space, assuring you access to native flora and fauna and the peaceful serenity of nature. The West Bay Beach & Golf Club is bounded by the Estero River, Estero Bay and Halfway Creek. The five beautiful parks of West Bay are designed for the young and the "young at heart".

River Park
This park has something for everyone. For the true outdoorsman (or woman), the park offers fly fishing, canoeing and kayaking, along with a boat launch for those wanting to navigate their own recreational outing. If a workout is in order before setting sail, take a run through the 1.5 mile, 12-station vita course. There are also dog runs, so that your "best friend" can get a workout too.

The Children's Park
Located in the River Park, there is a place where children can run and play in the great outdoors. There is a full playground area, a basketball court and picnic pavilions, so that the family can make a full day of it.

Butterfly Garden
Donna, a former resident of West Bay designed and created this sanctuary where butterflies and hummingbirds float in gentle suspension. Friends of Donna now maintain the beautiful gardens for all of the residents to enjoy.

Meditation Park
Meditation Park is located just inside the community entrance to Riverbrooke, This peaceful setting is situated under a canopy of beautiful trees, with pavered walkways and benches, in order to sit and unwind and enjoy nature at its finest.

River Park II
Relax and spend a day with family and friends, enjoying a meal under one of our picnic pavilions. Or spread out a blanket on the banks of the Estero River, while enjoying some of the most exotic species of wildlife found in Southwest Florida. For the more adventurous, play a game of Bocce Ball or Croquet.

Bay House Park
Sit back and enjoy a book under the gazebo or visit with friends. Stroll up to the Bay House for a beverage or a snack, or take advantage of an hour of massage and a dip in the junior Olympic-sized pool.
